And just a few years ago, I was in a completely different place.
At the end of 2015, I got laid off from my corporate finance job.
No Plan B.
No big savings.
Just the thought, “I’ve got to figure something out… fast.”
Launched my own Accounting / CFO Advisory Firm.
I started taking on anyone and everyone not knowing better.
Joined a ton of programs who made me do more (dm’ing, emailing, having random conversations online, pumping out endless content)
And despite working 12–18 hours a day, I still couldn’t break the $10K–$20K a month mark. 😢
Up & down months
Overworked, tired & underpaid in marketing, sales and service delivery.
Always felt like I was doing a lot but getting nowhere.
But deep down, I knew there had to be a better way.
I always wondered how business CEO made money.
I was looking for ways to grow my business because I know that the family that I want, freedom that I want, the life that I want, the life that I want will all be fueled by my business.
I wanted to make my family happy.
At the same time, I wanted a freedom lifestyle - But, I used to work 12 - 18 hours a day for months.

Until one day, everything changed.
My friend invited me to Grant Cardone’s 10X Growth conference in Florida to learn about ways to grow and market my business.
Russel Brunson was on stage - first time I heard about him.
He was talking about if you can sell it in one to one - then you can sell it one to many. 🤯
He asked us to write down what our monthly income goal in 10 years is in our business. 🎯
I wrote down $100k/month. 🤑
He said, here’s how the masses think about their 10-year plan.
“They think in increments”, he said.
They say, by the end of this year, I’ll try to do $20k a month.
In three years, I’ll try to do $20k a month. In seven years, I’ll do $40k a month. In 10 years I’ll try to get to my $100k goal.
He said, most just end up hoping, grinding, hustling, pondering and joining the next program, aka shiny object syndrome and they never get there.
He said,
Do you guys know how millionaires and billionaires think?
They ask themselves one simple question.
And the question is… 🤔
If you have a 10-year plan of how to get somewhere, you should ask: why can’t you do this in 6 months?
He rephrased this…and he said, “what might you do to accomplish your 10-year goals in the next 6 months, if you had a gun to your head?"
And then he rephrased it again…
“Pretend you wouldn’t be able to see your family or kids ever again… Now, plan it out.” 🥺
“Can you have your 6-month plan of how you would achieve your 10-year goals made within the next two hours?” 🔥
My heart dropped. My brain lit up. I made that plan in 45 minutes.
That single exercise changed how I think forever.
Because that’s how millionaires and billionaires think.
They compress time. They find answers to questions like this and they do it FAST.
And this is the mindset I start adopting.
This is how I start thinking about hitting my first $100K Month Goal.
Because if we think incrementally, like most do, we’ll have a hard time getting to our goals faster.🔥
So at the conference…
Russel Brunson was sharing the secret or the plan on how you can TRY to achieve your 10 year goal in 6 months, and how you can heavily multiply & accelerate your revenue growth.
And I remember him screaming, “This is INSANE!!
He talked about "how he has built a following of over a million entrepreneurs, sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his books (making him a New York Times Bestselling Author)" and co-founded the software company ClickFunnels.
Also, he had shared his webinar, virtual event, and masterclass strategy to sell millions of dollars’ worth of products and services online.
From getting a bunch of people into a ZOOM room talking about his products & services.
And after every workshop / virtual event, a certain percentage of people who wanted to work with him, would get on the call with him and enroll.
And what he found was that people had such a great time connecting with him, learning from him, that when they got on a call with him, it was an enrollment call, it was not a sales call.
They were handing him their credit cards.
